Pope Appoints New Auxiliary Bishop

The Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, has appointed Monsignor John Arnold Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Westminster as Auxiliary Bishop of Westminster assigning him the titular see of Lindisfarne.

Mgr Arnold was born on 12 June 1953 and ordained to the priesthood on 16 July 1983.
